Analytics: Implementing GA4

Over the past two years I have slowly and laboriously made friends with GA4. Using Events as the basis for all tracking now has opened up the ability to get creative and very detailed with reporting, and to ask and answer hard questions about what your audience is doing on your website. Unfortunately, getting even pretty basic information requires a level of expertise that just wasn’t needed before.

So -- I’m offering my help in setting up GA4 for your website or project. We’ll start with a conversation to assess where you are now and to generate ideas about anything specific you’d like to track, beyond the basics. I’ll implement GA4 and configure it for you, and set up custom reports. Then we’ll wrap up with a training session so you know exactly how to access, navigate and even customize your analytics. The cost is a flat $500, paid after we’re done, and that includes the following:

  1. Set up a new GA4 instance or convert your existing Universal Analytics.

  2. Install GA4 on your web platform(s) and integrate with Google Search Console, Google Ads or other Google products. (Up to two web platforms and two Google products.)

  3. Develop a proposed Measurement Plan, including up to three custom reports.

  4. Configure key events and flows, including the use of Google Tag Manager if needed

  5. Train you on using your configured and customized instance of GA4.

Interested? Let’s start with a completely free conversation to nail down what you need and make sure we can deliver.

Let’s face it -- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is a pain to implement and configure. It’s sooo different from what we’ve been used to from Google Analytics; it’s like learning a whole new tool. And yet…once it’s implemented and configured it really does provide valuable information. And if I’m being totally honest -- I’ll say this quietly -- I even think it might be better than old GA. Shhh!
